Job Description
Skills Required: Prior experience cleaning facilities. Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads with or without assistance. Ability to work alone and in groups, and to work at times with minimal supervision. Must have good driving record.

Skills Preferred: Special Conditions of Employment: Possession of a valid California Driver's License. Must have the ability to bend, stoop and kneel, to work from stepladders, to work overhead, and to make repetitive motions. Must be able to work in areas with latex paint fumes and/ or dust.

Percentage of Time Duty
95% CLEANING: Using University-approved custodial chemicals and supplies, clean floors,
ceilings, walls, windows, tiles, ovens, cupboards, counter tops, refrigerators, toilets and bath tubs. Dust, sweep, and mop floors. Shampoo carpets.
5% Other duties as assigned

Special Comments: Will be working across campus in residents halls and apartments cleaning up rooms for year end cleanings and conference services guests. Will be assigned to a Lead Custodian's team and will take instruction from the area lead.
