REQUIRED:
Must be able to WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.

Must be able to work during the final 3 weeks of each academic quarter.

Neat, professional appearance is absolutely required. Must be able to work effectively in a professional setting.

All ushers are REQUIRED TO WEAR WHITE TOP / BLACK BOTTOMS, BLACK SHOES on the job.

- Interest in the Arts and live performance / presentation.

- Motivated to problem-solve and work independently.

- Ability to learn and operate ticket scanners.

- Experience with customer service and interest in working with the public.

- Ability to check email and online work schedule on a daily basis.

If you would like to gain experience in a theatrical or musical atmosphere and you are a great communicator with a polite and positive manner and enjoy working with people, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a small team delivering a high standard of customer service.

Skills Preferred: - Paid or volunteer experience at concerts, plays, lectures, movie theater, or events venue is preferred.
- Understanding of Music and/or Theater.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is not required, but preferred.
Percentage of Time Duty
100% Provide services in the preparation and production of public events in the Arts Division. Scan tickets, usher guests to seats. Provide excellent customer service to all guests. Answer questions, be welcoming to our guests. Be attentive to audience safety, be prepared for evacuation or other response, in the event of emergency. Other duties as assigned.
