Strong organizational skills and time management skills

Ability to lift between 10-30 pounds
Flexibility in schedule and flexible team player who can work in a busy office
Responsible individual who can work as a part of a team with other interns
Sufficient working knowledge of computers and word-processing, spreadsheet, database, web development and/or other software applications necessary to perform this job
Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and giving presentations
Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature

Skills Preferred: Familiar with campus organizations, administration, and resource centers
Experience with coordinating programs in collaboration with the Resource Centers
Comfortable making phone calls, attending meetings, responding to email inquiries, etc.
Can create connections with the Resource Centers and Big Five identity organizations to ensure community building
A licensed driver

Percentage of Time Duty
100% The Program Coordinator will work with the Resource Centers in collaborating with programs they are creating in addition to coordinating their own programs. It will be beneficial for the Program Coordinator to work on at least three programs per quarter, if not more. This can be determined by either assisting with an existing program or creating one of their own. This position is anticipated to work between 8-10 hours a week. It is important to note that this is a stipend position that will be paid as a By Agreement (BYA).

50% Programming: Making reservations, calling vendors, drafting a program budget, etc.
30% Building community relationships with folx on campus
10% Administrative: Filing mail, responding to email inquiries, etc
10% Any other duties assigned by the supervising officer
