Job Description
Skills Required: Prior experience in building maintenance, painting or construction. Ability to work with power tools, drills and sanders. Ability to bend, stoop and/or kneel, to use ladders and to reach to work overhead and to make repetitive motions. Ability to work in areas with paint fumes and/or dust. Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads up to 50 lbs with or without assistance. Ability to work alone without direct supervision. Dependable, hard-working, self-motivated. Possession of valid California driver's license and good driving record.

Skills Preferred:

95% REPAIRS and PAINTING: Make simple repairs to floors, walls and electrical outlets. Hang blinds, sand, stain and varnish hardwood floors. Operate power sanders, drills, and other power hand tools. Prepare walls, ceiling and trim for painting: paint using semi-gloss and flat latex paint and some enamel paint. Clean painting equipment; mask and cover area as appropriate. Spackle holes, repair damaged areas in preparation for painting.
5% Other duties as assigned. Such as custodial and grounds work.
