Job Description
Skills Required: - Knowledge of and experience with filming, editing, producing and captioning a final video product
- Some level of portrait and event photography experience, and a working skillset of photoshoot best practices
- Well-versed in video and photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and PhotoShop
- Strong organizational and communication skills to interview students and employers; sbility to conduct field interviews with students and employers.
- Strong writing skills for composing video scripts

Skills Preferred: Experience working with You Tube and posting videos on You Tube
Percentage of Time Duty
60% Shoot videos and photos at Career Center events such as fairs, conferences, workshops, and information sessions. Edit raw video through the post production processes into final products that can be posted on the Career Center’s YouTube channel and website. Collaborate with Career Center staff members to coordinate and help produce tutorials and videos about the unit’s services.
25% Work with Social Media/Marketing Assistant to format videos and photos for social media campaigns. Collaborate with Graphic Design Assistant as needed to include graphics in video projects.Review Career Center’s YouTube channel, making recommendations to improve the page. Post videos as they are approved. Review usage and comments posted on page.
10% Attend meetings, assist with tabling and outreach for the Career Center
5% Other duties as assigned
