Job Description
Skills Required: - Comfort and familiarity with and/or the desire to learn more about sexual violence, violence prevention, advocacy, equity, social justice, and support of the mission of CARE.
- Commitment to designing inclusive programming, outreach and projects that reflect the needs of our campus community.
- Ability to make a substantial commitment to the office (minimum of ten hours a week).
- Experience with creating flyers/materials with Photoshop, Canva, or other graphics software.
- Ability to create and update online content in WCMS (training provided upon hire).
- Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and software, including email.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and problem-solve in a positive manner with fellow students, supervisor, CARE staff and others.
- Team focused and collaborative attitude; ability to participate in a positive and supportive manner.
- Ability to work on several projects concurrently with frequent interruptions; ability to prioritize and time-manage; ability carry out assignments responsibly.
- Ability to handle difficult, sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and tact.
- A thorough knowledge of the services offered by CARE (training provided upon hire).

Skills Preferred: Candidates who are interested in continuing in this position with a commitment through the 2018-2019 academic year are highly desired. Must be available to be on campus the week of September 17th for mandatory staff orientation.

Percentage of Time Duty
70% Work closely with the CARE director to develop the marketing and outreach strategies for CARE programs and services.
Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering high-quality marketing materials for CARE programs and events.
Work closely with Education & Outreach Coordinator and other staff to ensure sufficient publicity for events.
Responsible for generating relevant content for CARE social media platforms.
Update CARE website regularly (no HTML experience necessary).
15% Coordinate with Staff, Interns, and Volunteers to ensure appropriate distribution of flyers and other marketing material.
10% Actively participate in programming efforts of the CARE office.
Attend weekly CARE staff meetings.
5% Perform other related duties as assigned.
