Job Description
Skills Required: Attention to detail.
Enter field data into spreadsheets and databases.
Basic mechanical skills.
Assembly of parts with hand tools
Ability to navigate to locations on campus using maps and/or GPS


Skills Preferred: Basic data manipulation and computation in Excel.
Following procedures to install software and data on small devices using PC and Mac.
Web content entry
Percentage of Time Duty
30% Maintenance and installation of sensor units in dumpsters. Requires travelling to specific dumpsters on campus, verifying dumpster ID, installing sensor component with nuts and bolts and hand tools, handling equipment with sensitivity,recording information accurately.
10% Assembly of sensor components in the shop. Involves hand tools, small nuts, bolts, screws. May involve soldering of components and wires.
10% Following procedures to install software and modify data in flash memory on small devices.
50% Entering data from field waste collection operations into spreadsheets and databases.
Updating basic information on web site using content management system.
