Job Description
Skills Required: Must be at least 18 years of age. Reliability is essential. Criminal clearance is required for all positions before work can start. Health Screening to include a TB test (form provided) and proof of immunizations and/ or immunity to Measles, Pertussis and Influenza required. Preference given to those with full-time availability. Some part-time hours available.
Skills Preferred: Experience working with children and some knowledge of child development preferred; ability to take direction.
Percentage of Time Duty
95% Under direct supervision of the teaching team, assist in care and supervision of children in any of our 4 campus child care programs: Older Infants, Younger Preschool (2 Year Old's), Older Preschool (3-5 Year Old's), and After- School. Duties include assisting teaching team in set-up and maintenance of health and safety standards in indoor and outdoor environments, providing support of curriculum, maintaining classroom materials, assisting in care giving routines, and facilitating children's development in all areas of growth.
     
5% Attend mandatory orientation/training, date to be determined.
