Job Description
Skills Required: RHI is seeking a creative, committed student with the following skills and qualities:
-Accurate and detail-oriented input of information into databases.
-Office and administrative experience.
-Organized and reliable. Meets deadlines.
-Exceptional experience in conducting research, note-taking, synthesis of information, and writing summaries of research.
-Excellent writing skills and clear communication ability.
-Ability to translate complex subjects and scholarly articles into practical, accessible language.
-Analytical capacity.
-Commitment and dedication to the work and subject matter.
-Self-starter and independent worker. Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.
-Ability to work as a team in sharing ideas and supporting each other’s work.
-Creative capacity to create a work plan independently and develop research direction based on a broad subject
Skills Preferred: -Social Media Experience (Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite)
-Website content updates and audits
-Data entry in Microsoft Access database
-Synthesis of background research

Preferred majors include sociology, economics, political science and community studies, but others will be considered.

50% Conduct research and prepare written summaries
20% Update database of contacts
20% Administrative duties and materials preparation
10% Review news articles and write social media posts
