Job Description
Skills Required: •This job will be full time (32 - 40 hours per week) during the summer months and continues part-time (12 - 19.5 hours per week) through the academic year. Minimum 1 - 2 year commitment required.

•Demonstrated administrative and clerical skills including knowledge of general office systems and procedures.

•Knowledge of and ability to use computer with word processing, database, e-mail and internet programs.

•Ability to work independently - to problem-solve and make decisions based on training.

•Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and work independently in a fast-paced environment with pressures of deadlines.

•Candidate must adhere to rules regarding using office equipment for personal purposes and provide concise schedule and hold to it reliably.

•Excellent record keeping skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain both hard copy and electronic files.

•Ability to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation.

•Ability to safely drive and operate University vehicles as assigned.

•Ability to work at a high visibility reception desk exercising tact and diplomacy when interacting with staff and guests.

Skills Preferred:
Percentage of Time Duty
25% Accounts Assistance: assist with accounts payable activities by: filing and scanning invoices; sitting at a reception desk to greet and assist guests; filing and processing time sheets; issuing temporary parking passes; driving to local vendors for deliveries; miscellaneous spreadsheet work; taking University vehicles to and from Fleet Services for service. General office duties as assigned.
25% Contracts Assistance: assist with contract processing by: maintaining files and technical records; preparing and distributing authorizations and change orders; processing Profile Forms; driving documents to Kerr Hall and to the County Courthouse for signature. General office duties as assigned.

40% printing, archiving, and research. Scanning includes large blueprints and letter size correspondence to be archived electronically; printing includes plans and specifications for construction jobs; research includes searching through electronic and paper files for specific archived documents needed for current construction work. General office duties as assigned.
10% Provide general assistance to Business Operations group.
