Skills Required: Engineering proposed or declared major
     Able to adapt to changing policies and procedures and demonstrate versatility and creativity
     Reliable and punctual with strong time management and organizational skills
     Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
     Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce professional correspondence using accurate grammar, style and punctuation
     Ability to comprehend, interpret and relay (technical or procedural) information with clarity and accuracy and able to use good judgment in handling confidential information/materials
     Excellent customer service skills and able to speak in a public setting with confidence
     Ability to educate individuals on our brands, programs, and current promotions
     Ability to work both independently and on a team
     Ability to write reports and summarize important information
     Working knowledge and understanding of social media platforms

Skills Preferred: Reception/clerical experience
     Experience working with diverse cultures and people in an academic setting
     Customer Service experience

Percentage of Time Duty
75% Ambassador Duties:
•     Assist with special projects and events such as fairs, department tours, workshops, orientations, social media contests and tabling.
•     Speak in front of small and large audiences.; providing a welcoming atmosphere, greeting visitors
•     Exercise patience and empathy when dealing with language barriers and non-American cultural assumptions.
25% General Office Duties:
•     Typing documents and correspondence
•     Database entry, spreadsheets, and reports
•     Organize and maintain daily working files, document filing, mailings and photocopying
•      Adhere to FERPA and other confidentiality policies of student and scholar information
•     Work on marketing for the office and maintain the outside boards with up to date information
•     Other tasks as assigned
